Ciao a tutti, qualche giorno fa ho comprato dei semi su banana tree.com, un sito americano,
dopo aver comprato, guardando attentamente sul sito leggo:
Q. FOREIGN ORDERS:
A. We ship foreign orders every day. You must contact your Agricultural Office
and determine if we are required to send a Phytosanitary certificate with your order.
If it is required, we must have your items inspected by the U. S. Department of Agriculture
and upon their approval we will be issued the certificate There is a fee of $23 that we must
pay for the inspection so that of course would be added to your cost. Every country is different
in their policies in regard to restrictions. Usually the need for a Phytosanitary certificate
pertains only to plants and bulbs, but there are many exceptions. You must advise us if the
Phytosanitary certificate is required. If we send the order without the certificate it is
possible that your order will be opened and the contents destroyed. We are not responsible
if you have not advised us. You can send a brief message to us in the COMMENT SECTION of
the ORDER PAGE. Also note that some countries require that you obtain an import permit
from your Agriculture department
Q. SHIPPING COSTS
A. The weight of some seeds may be quite heavy and will affect the mailing cost.
Sometimes the weights of the rhizomes of the Gingers, Heliconia, Musella and banana
can exceed 1 lb. That will cause the shiping rate to be obviously higher than listed.
Also keep in mind that requests for orders to be sent via FEDEX or an other expedient
service are much higher and we charge whatever the rate happens to be. We do not attempt
to profit from shipping charges.
in altre nazioni.
ciao a tutti.
